A 48-year-old female patient (Registration Number ABG-03) presented with her complaints of cracked lesions since 2014 on Buccal mucosa on both sides of the mouth, a cracked lesion on the tongue appearing like a mouth ulcer. The patient had severe burning pain unable to swallow food easily. She has lost taste and interest in eating. She had taken treatment from different Allopathy, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy doctors but didn’t get any result. She did a biopsy also to rule out cancer. Since 2019, after getting no results from the treatment she decided to stop the medication. And then by some reference, she came to Homeo Care Clinic on 8th February 2021 and started Homeopathic Treatment for the same.
Based on her detailed study Dr. Vaseem Choudhary gave her some homeopathic medicine.
Follow-Ups:
After taking homeopathic treatment for 1 month on 16th March 2021 – she started getting relief within 10 days of starting with the treatment. Her mouth cracks started improving, burning of her mouth reduced. Healing of lesions started. The sensitivity of the mouth reduced and in the span of 1 month nearly 99% relief in the symptoms. Now she has started eating everything and she is able to eat spicy food also.
The patient was feeling very happy and confident.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating lichen planus incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
