Common Allergies

  • Dust Allergy

    Sneezing, Cough, Cold, Running Nose, etc symptoms are seen in children suffering with Dust Allergy.
  • Food allergy

    Body showing intolerance towards certain food articles is known as Food Allergy. Children may suffer from any kind of Food allergy like Lactose Intolerance, Gluten Intolerance, Milk Products or Egg Products Intolerance to name a few.
  • Skin Allergies

    Children may develop Skin Rashes, Redenning, Swelling, Pustules, Eczema, etc as a result of Skin allergy.
  • Seasonal Allergies

    Usually children with low immunity or other underlying conditions fall pray to Seasonal allergies like Pollen Grain allergy or Hey fever, etc which makes their life miserable.
  • Photo Sensitivity

    The condition also comes under Skin disorders or Allergic conditions as it is often mentioned as. Photo sensitivity is nothing but intolerance to Sunlight, causing burning, blackening, redenning or rashes on the skin.

Tonsillitis

Tonsillitis is an inflammation of the tonsils. Tonsils are the lumps of tissue on both sides of the back of your child’s throat. Tonsils are part of the immune system. They help fight infection. Recurrent tonsillitis is when your child has tonsillitis many times in 1 year. Chronic tonsillitis is when your child has a sore throat that lasts 3 months or longer.

Bedwetting

Bedwetting happens when a child pees during sleep without knowing it. Many children will use the toilet well during the day long before they are dry through the night. It can be many months, even years, before children stay dry overnight.

Most children, but not all, stop bedwetting between the ages of 5 and 6 years old. Bedwetting is more common in boys and in deep sleepers.

Poor Digestion

Increasingly, children are developing digestive problems that were once reserved for adults. Digestive problems such as bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, and even inflammatory bowel diseases can result from a multitude of factors, but the underlying cause is often inappropriate eating habits. The role of good nutrition in health is unfortunately still under-emphasized in North America. Although we recognize a relationship between food and the body’s functioning, there is still a tendency to assume that the mechanics of the body are malfunctioning due to other reasons.

Loss of Appetite

It is almost impossible to say that No mother of a child has complained about this problem ever. This is the root cause of all other diseases. Children with loss of appetite don’t eat properly and lead to conditions like Malnutrition. Finding out the cause is important. Helping hand of Ayurveda lets children recover fast from such problems.

Autism

Autism spectrum disorders are neurodevelopmental disorders characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, repeatative and stereotyped patterns of behaviour, and uneven intellectual development often with intellectual disability. Symptoms start in early childhood. The cause in most of the children is unknown. Ayurvedic approach may at least develop these children to become self dependant and responsible in order not to be burden to their parents or others.

Mental Retardation

Also known as Intellectual Disability, is characterized by significantly sub average intellectual functioningcombined with limitations of more than 2 of the following – communication, self direction, social skills, self care, use of community resources, and maintenance of personal safety. With combined external and internal therapies of Ayurveda, surprizing improvements in Intellectual Functioning and Personal Skills of such children can be seen.

Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral Palsy refers to nonprogressive syndromes characterized by impaired voluntary movement or posture and resulting from prenatal developmental malformations or perinatal or postnatal CNS changes. Children with cerebral palsy can be seen recovering beautifully after ayurvedic treatments over a period of time.
